My review
I received a free copy for an honest review. This is a really good example of a book that is very well written and structured - but fails still failing to capture the reader's attention. Maybe it was because I was listening to this in audiobook format, but despite the fact that I've seen some great review of this book and how I am able to recognize the potential of this book myself, I can't help but drop it after five chapters. Because from my reading experience, if I didn't enjoy a book by then, 99% I wouldn't enjoy it anymore as the book progresses, so I if I keep reading I know I'll just be wasting my time. The cover was gorgeous, the protagonist is interesting, and it's got a paranormal story-line. There was nothing wrong with the pace either - it was not too slow or too fast. The point I'm trying to make is that this is not a bad book, in fact, you may actually enjoy. But it was just not for me.

I made silver and turquoise jewelry for almost a decade, ended up in nursing school, then took a master’s in business. I love to travel, though I haven’t done enough of it. I’ve seen a lot of Russia and Mexico, not enough of England. Amsterdam is amazing, and the Romanian Alps are breathtaking. Lake Tahoe is a favorite, and someday I’d like to see Banff.
